About that Helen Thomas thing. Something has been nagging me about the old bag's choice of countries; it just hit me that it couldn't have been more, uh, interesting.

That's one of the best things about the Jon Stewart video that Ace posted, he says, "um, Helen, it seems to me there might have been a reason the Jews left Poland and Germany...and hell, you were 20 years old when it happened!"
Funny, when I FIRST heard her comment, I was like, "OMgosh, did she just say what I thought she said...that she was suggesting Jews go back to places that massacred them some 60 years ago?"
It goes way beyond poor taste; to me, it sounds like she's saying they could FOAD.
My first thought was that she was advocating sending the Jews back to the concentration camps.
My opinion hasn't changed. Neither has my attitude in response: "You first, bitch."
