Naw, nothing like that. But sometimes you need to reevaluate how things are done and reexamine assumptions. The don't always hold forever.

Indeed. Many years ago, I developed the Sawtooth Wave Theory of Meetings:

Meetings, and the time they suck up, increase linearly until one day someone stands up in a meeting and says "I have nothing new to present. I was in meetings all week."

Wherupon the Powers That Be immediately kill all meetings.

At which point, the cycle starts again.


Sadly, in more than twenty years I have yet to be proven wrong.
