Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it was last week. But I just got out to our local (sorta) Bass Pro Shop yesterday to hit the after Thanksgiving sales.
Well, I didn't actually pick up anything in their ad but I did pickup a box of this, in anticipation of picking up my new piece next week. Seems like a decent enough price but I really gotta start reloading them soon.
Iz out!

I don't know if you can find Blazer Brass ammo around where you live, but around here, it's cheaper and more reliable than the type you just got, and it's the kind that you can pick up and reload.
The only thing cheaper around here is the Monarch steel or aluminum cased, and that's even less reliable than the UMC bulk boxes.
Huh. I've never had reliablility issues with UMC ammo, but maybe I haven't shot it enough to notice.
I've never heard of Blazer Brass before, I'll have to go looking for it (although a better option is to get some .45 dies or still better, a progressive press).
It's unreliable as hell in 9mm and .40. About 1 in every 10 doesn't fire for the cops practicing at the free, public conservation dept. range 30 minutes from my house. I can't speak to the accuracy--the shooters suck (sad, that).
Fortunately, I have it in .45 instead of 9mm or .40, and I'll let you know how it performs when I pick up my new baby.
