It's an old joke
But it's mine and I refuse to part with it. Brief exchange with a coworker just a few minutes ago:

Yeah, I've use that one too. But not in Spanish, it just doesn't work.
Ricki, there's a variation to yours:
Victim: "Did you get a haircut?"
Me: "No, I had 'em all cut."
A guy walks into a bar. Ouch!
