I get email updates from the SacBee, and yesterday I got one that said Natasha Richardson had been in a terrible skiing accident. I'll confess I didn't really know who she was, other than knowing the name. Daughter of Vanessa Redgrave.
Today I get the update that she died. Only 45, such a terrible shame.

She was a tremendous actress with stunning grace and beauty. It's terribly sad, especially since she has two young sons. The creepy thing about it is that the accident itself wasn't even that terrible. She was fine for about an hour after it happened and fell suddenly ill. What a horrible thing for her family.
I knew her more as the wife of Liam Neeson, but it made me sad nontheless.
